Who Are We & How Did We Get Here

The Short

We are Lauren (right) and Brandi (left) the owners of Agee Business Solutions. We work with clients in many industries with a healthy knowledge of e-commerce and wireless retail. We have clients in many states across the country and pride ourselves on providing a personable experience for all our clients. With a cumulative 27 years experience, we are confident that we can help you navigate business whether you are just starting out or need help getting on a better path. We have many recommendations and solutions to help all businesses of all sizes.

The Long

I am Lauren and I have spent my entire life learning about business and entrepreneurship. Many years ago my parents opened a business at the beginning of the pager craze! Do you remember those days? I was raised in the family business, running around the sales floor, while employees helped customers, playing with office equipment, wanting to be like the adults around me. As the business evolved from pagers, to cell phones, and wireless internet, it was no surprise that I would learn invaluable business skills along the way.

Brandi’s professional career began at the age of 19 when she had an opportunity to work for an accounting firm, doing marketing. After some time in the office, the owner gave her the chance to handle a small book of business doing client bookkeeping. Over the years, with knowledge and experience, that would evolve into full-time bookkeeping with the firm.

In 2015 we welcomed our first baby girl into the world and by the end of the year, I began to work towards building a business of our very own! There were countless hours and many late nights (turned early mornings) I spent trying to make this firm come to life.

In March of 2016 we were officially open for business. Of course Dad helped out by being our first client, but we took on clients of all types and industries, while we worked to grow into a successful firm. I attended weekly networking meetings, walked door to door, and looked for any possible ways to grow. I also finished up a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, bringing even more qualification to my role as owner.

In December 2018 we welcomed our second little girl and by early 2019 our client list had grown extensively enough, that it only made sense for Brandi to resign from her role and work for our firm full time. Brandi would primarily take on our largest client with a 30+ location chain of wireless retail stores and other property management businesses.

Mid 2019 we started our second business in recreational rentals, renting boats and RV’s to individuals in our surrounding cities, taking our hobbies and making them possible for other families. In the latter half of  2019 Brandi also worked to develop an e-commerce business as an Amazon seller, and by 4th quarter we were ready for the holiday season, with our 3rd business!!

When we say we know how much work it takes to open and run a business, we really mean it!

In January 2021, I did a live video in a popular Amazon seller Facebook group, talking about bookkeeping for sellers, taxes, and answering some frequently asked questions. Once again, things took off like crazy, with inquiries from hundreds of e-commerce sellers, many new tax clients, business formations, and new bookkeeping clients. I think you could say we’ve found our niche.

Our firm is constantly growing and evolving and we look forward to serving you and your business.
